I take so many photographs. So so many. They sit in folders on my computer and various hard drives. My intention is to process them when I take them and there are literally thousands of images, personal and otherwise that never see the light of day.

I fear that a lot of them never will.

I’m reminded of the end of the movie Blade Runner when Roy Batty, a replicant, played by Rutger Hauer suggests that he has so many profound memories that will simply, when he dies, be moments lost in time like tears in rain.

With this in mind I have decided to embark on a project. Who knows when I will get to the end of it. Maybe I never will. To post one picture, my intention being daily, and as often as possible, from my scattered archive of unprocessed and mostly unseen work. This is the Random Project,

These are my tears in rain.
