FFOREST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Jul 11, 2016

I have wanted to create an Fforest wedding photography post for a while. I’ve shot some special wedding venues in the past few years and I have to say one of the most magical venues of all is Fforest in Cardigan, Wales. A wedding oasis carved into the centre of a forest this wonderful venue is a place I always get excited to visit. You can shoot there time and time again and never fail to be inspired.

This venue is the perfect scene for outdoor music and festival weddings. So whether you are planning a two day bohemian event, a rustic affair with giant tipi’s, a stylish shabby chic dreamland or a full on dance rave wedding you absolutely have to check out this idylic location. Pure rock n roll.

I love the pace that accompanies weddings at this location. Bride & Groom and their guests tend to arrive the evening before and I am usually on hand to shoot the fun and games and the palpable sense of excitement of what is to come the following day. Weddings that span 2-3 days tend to have a more relaxed, unhurried, unpressured vibe and this is always reflected in the photographs.

Here are a few of my weddings photographed at this stunning location.

Ffforest farm has been created as a place to enjoy the simplicity, pleasures and beauty of outdoor living in an outstanding natural environment. Fforest farm is 200 acres by the river Teifi gorge, next to the Teifi marshes nature reserve, minutes from the town of Cardigan and from the beautiful undiscovered beaches and coves of the West Wales coast.

Holy smoke mate, that’s a pretty stunning set of images right there. I don’t often look at every image on a blog, but I did this one, some of them twice.

    Top work
