I’m back at Fforest – Cardigan (West of Wales) after nearly a year for the Wedding of Laura & Nic. Fforest hasn’t changed that much. And why would it? The surrounding woodland and meadows are simply majestic. I look around taking in everything as if for the first time – as a photographer I have no place filtering what is going on now with an idea of what has gone on before and indeed this is the wonderful challenge I encounter at many weddings – to see everything anew and as it happens now! The location totally compliments Laura & Nic who are such a fun and relaxed couple to be around. It’s the first time I’ve seen them since our pre-wedding shoot back in February in Epping Forest – a day I remember all too well as it was snowing.

It’s another time and place now …

… I’m having a quick coffee and then I’m going to get to work.

I am an aspiring amateur photographer and am totally inspired by your Wedding photos at Fforest. They are so amazingly beautiful, so completely different to the ‘norm’. Wonderful :)ReplyCancel

Hello mate. You are the master of observation and the camera is an extension of your own eyes. To tell the story of events in pictures as you do is a gift. Coming from a visual arts background I was anticipating someone like you changing the way wedding photography is perceived for the last twenty years. Your stories are a joy to behold.ReplyCancel
