I only met Nicola & Gary a few weeks ago at their pre wedding shoot a few weeks ago. We had a whole lot of fun and I new that when I returned to shoot their wedding on the 27th of December we were going to create some magic. I was especially excited at the prospect of photographing the 16 bridesmaids Nicola mentioned she was having and at the same time I knew I’d have to box clever to get the shots I wanted. Apart from the formals and around 20 minutes worth of Bride & Groom portraits I do not stage any shots. Observation is key for me. For me this kind of photography is my favourite kind of photography and at times it can be the most challenging as you have to remain constantly vigilant and on the look-out for moments of magic. I am so pleased with the images we captured and I know I’ll remember this special day for a long time to come. I shot this with the super talented Claudia Rose Carter
